No RSVP required - Questions? Contact Dalilah at dalilah@hillelmke.org

Spring 2022 Shabbat Protocol

During the Spring 2022 semester, Hillel Milwaukee will host weekly Shabbat gatherings and provide Shabbat dinner in-person for fully vaccinated students (include booster if eligible) and to-go meals. These Shabbat celebrations will take place in-person and all participants will be asked to be masked with a surgical or N95 mask, which Hillel will provide.

If you will be joining Hillel Milwaukee for Shabbat and/or taking your meal to-go, please use this form to RSVP.

All meal requests are due by 8 pm on the Tuesday prior to Shabbat. You will not be guaranteed a meal if you RSVP after the deadline.

Each week, Shabbat services/programs will begin at 5 pm. To-go meal pick up will be at Hillel Milwaukee between 4 pm - 6 pm. Transportation is available for students that attend schools other than UW-Milwaukee. If you need transportation to Shabbat services or are unable to pick up your meal during this time frame, please contact Anna Goldstein at anna@hillelmke.org or call/text 224-330-7663 before Thursday at 8 pm.

In adherence with current Hillel Milwaukee COVID-19 protocols, guests will be required to wear a surgical or N95 mask at all times while in the Hillel building. All guests attending Shabbat services or programs will be asked to sign-in digitally for contact tracing and vaccination status will be requested, but not required. Guests will be asked to self-attest to their vaccination status.

Guests that are experiencing any COVID-19 like symptoms will be asked to stay home.

Shabbat dates will be updated on the form on a monthly basis. You will receive a reminder email regarding Shabbat meal pick-up for the weeks you sign-up.

*Pending COVID restrictions and community spread, Hillel Milwaukee may return to meeting in-person, socially-distanced for Shabbat dinners. Accommodations will be made to continue to include participants that are unable to meet in-person if this possibility arises.

All of our Shabbat dinners remain FREE for students, or HiYA members when applicable. We are not providing meals for community members at this time. If you have questions or want to participate in Shabbat services, contact Dalilah at dalilah@hillelmke.org.
