IMPORTANT UPDATE
April 28, 2022
We are deeply disappointed that the Marquette University Student Government (MUSG) voted in support of a resolution calling upon the University to implement the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and to withdraw all investments in Israeli companies, products, endowments, mutual funds, and other monetary instruments.
We stand against BDS because we stand firmly for a diverse, inclusive community where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered to have respectful discussions that are part of a healthy community. Singling out and blaming one party in a complex geopolitical conflict is detrimental to peace and removes the ability for effective dialogue. We will continue to support peace and honest dialogue, and work for a more peaceful and safe campus, community, and Jewish homeland.
Hillel Milwaukee is committed to growing Jewish life at Marquette University and all Milwaukee area campuses, calling out antisemitism in all of its forms, and advocating for the wellbeing of Jewish students. We ask all members of our community to continue treating one another with respect and dignity.
As always, Hillel staff are always here to support our students and young adults. Please feel free to reach out with any concerns or if you just want someone to talk to.

Our Mission
We strive to create a dynamic, warm and celebratory Jewish environment for Milwaukee's university students and young adults (ages 18-30) where they can explore and express their Jewish identities and gain a sense of belonging within the Jewish community. We offer holiday and cultural programs, Shabbat dinners, leadership opportunities, social action projects, Israel programs, outdoor activities, and social gatherings. We welcome Jewish young adults from all backgrounds, including religious, secular and interfaith. We are also open to all local students who have a sincere desire to learn more about Judaism.
