Jewish Learning Fellowship
We are so thrilled to announce the official launch of our eighth cohort of the Jewish Learning Fellowship for the Spring 2022 semester!
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a 10-week experiential, conversational program for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms.
This is a program that brings Jewish learning to life, making it relevant for all students with a passion for building relationships with other students through learning and Torah. Participation is limited!
This allows for students from any of Hillel Milwaukee's campuses to partake in the fellowship regardless of their geographical location. JLF provides an unmatched opportunity for students to forge bonds with others and gain a wide variety of lifelong benefits upon completion, including new Jewish friends and expanded Jewish social networks, a Jewish community. a Jewish mentor to help navigate life's big questions, an understanding of the study of Torah, guidance on how to live Jewishly, and more!
The fellowship is slated to take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 - 6:30 pm, beginning on February 9th. Accepted students who complete the program, missing no more than 2 classes will earn a $250 stipend.

About the stipend: at the end of the semester, upon completing all JLF requirements a check will be issued in the participants name to be either picked up from the Hillel office or mailed to the participants legal address. Requirements include: attending at least 8 of 10 learning sessions, participating in a JLF Shabbaton, and fully participating in learning opportunities and discussions.
