Summer Internships

Apply Today!
New Application Deadline is Wednesday, June 10th
Hillel Milwaukee  Summer 2020 Internship Program

We recognize that so much has changed for our students and young adults in the Milwaukee area since the pandemic. In response to students and recent grads changing internships and job  opportunities this summer, Hillel Milwaukee is excited to introduce our very-first Summer Internship Program.

Our 6-week, cohort based internship program will give you the opportunity to make a difference for fellow Jewish students and recent grads through helping plan and prepare for the upcoming year. With five internship positions available, each internship will give you professional experience working with a small non-profit organization while providing you with an opportunity to have a direct impact on our collective community.

This internship is unpaid, and the program will begin the week of June 22nd, with an estimated 7-10 hours of work per week, including a weekly one-on-one check-in with a staff member and one cohort meeting per week for community building, idea sharing, and professional development.

Have a particular skill set you don’t see fitting somewhere here? Tell us what you’re good at, give us an initiative, find an area we can improve, and let us know. These positions reflect organizational needs of Hillel Milwaukee, but we’re open to expanding this list for “make-your-own-internship”-style positions. Please reach out to Assistant Director, Deb Fendrich (deb@hillelmke.org) if you have an internship idea that would benefit our community.

All students and recent grads are encouraged to apply, and participation during the school year with Hillel and student leadership within the Jewish community are not required.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10th.
